For our holiday fashion shoot seen on the blog last week, one of our looks was inspired by the Christmas movie "Serendipity." We featured a modern New York winter day ensemble. (See the original photo below.) Here's a spin off on that look as the shirt we used in the shoot seems tough to find online. This is the same jacket we used but paired with a different blouse (both by Lauren Moffatt). For a punch of color, I added this poppy-hued bag by Baggu, a romantic white scarf, skinny jeans by DL1961 (sold at Cameron Marks) and these much sought after boots that were our "stylist's own." Her version was Guess and this similar pair is by Aldo. When our model walked down the streets in a similar outfit (as seen below) handfuls of women took a pause to admire her ensemble. In a nutshell—this is cold weather fashion at its finest. Below is a photo from our recent fashion shoot where the above outfit was inspired from. Also, the original inspiration from the movie, "Serendipity."
