Fall Beauty Report

As we slowly creep into fall, I don’t think there is anything wrong with taking some of our favorite summer staples, and updating our uses for these items. Two of my favorite products from this summer are Laura Mercier’s Bonne Mine palette and Becca’s Beach Tints.

Mercier’s easy to use palette was made by the makeup superstar for her celebrity clients who wanted an easy two-minute makeup application to mimic Mercier’s magical touch that leaves them beautifully bronzed and glowing. It even comes with note cards of where to apply each shade to lightly contour your face. If that’s not enough to get you to her website, 100 percent of the profits will be donated to the Laura Mercier Ovarian Cancer Fund.

To accompany your glowing skin for fall, try adding one of Becca’s Beach Tints to your lids and your lips. I have been loving using blush as an eyeshadow recently. It really softens up your look while adding a bit of something out of the ordinary into your routine. My favorite tint right now is Becca’s Beach Tint in Watermelon.

While trying out new foundations after a recent trip to Sephora, I have also discovered and fallen in love with Marc Jacobs' new beauty line. While he has an impressive range of color for your eyes and lips, his Genius Gel Supercharged Foundation was definitely what sparked my interest and had me hooked. This breakthrough gel foundation is easily buildable and uses Buoyancy Gel technology to enhance the performance of this long-wearing, anti-aging formula which is packed with antioxidants.

The game changer this fall when it comes to haircare has got to be Kerastase’s nine piece styling collection. With Kate Moss as the face of their latest launch, this fashion week and stylist favorite will not leave you disappointed. The star product of this new line is Lift Vertige Root-Uplifting Gel. It was recently dubbed an editors’ favorite in Elle magazine.

Lastly, I suggest changing up your fragrance this season. I’ve got my eye on Tom Ford’s Tuscan Leather. This unisex fragrance has notes of wood, leather, jasmine and saffron which leaves your skin with a touch of amber-y sweetness as it dries on the skin.
