Is there such a thing as trend overload? In an attempt to find out, I set about putting together an outfit that incorporated as many current trends as possible. We've all known someone who never met a trend they didn't like. They're constantly buying and wearing the latest and greatest, and you can't help but think, "fashion victim." There's a fine line between fashionable and fashion victim, but to me, the bottom line is, do you wear the clothes or do the clothes wear you? This outfit could scream, "victim," or "I'm a cool chick who's got it going on." Trends are fun, they keep fashion interesting and spicy. But not all trends are for everyone. You've got to take them with a grain of salt and let the ones that don't fit your aesthetic ride until the next one comes along that works for you. For example, I'd buy some of the graphic tees that are out right now like this cute bat shirt, but I've never been a fan of camoflauge as fashion. I can get into the infinity jewelry that's everywhere, but heart shaped glasses just aren't my style. Know thy self and have fun. It's just fashion after all.
