Fall Favorites from Independent Designers

Fall unleashes myriad new items on the market and it's hard, if you're on a budget, to pick one or two special, memorable, long-lasting, quality items that can hold you over through the season and into next year and beyond. With our eyes always on independent fashion designers, we decided to pare it down for you and find four of our favorite things this season, all from indie lines that we adore.

This boiled wool Cocoon Coat (upper left) from Elizabeth Suzann has a kimono quality to it. Not only will it keep you warm this season (and more to come) but it's a striking, eye-catching piece of outerwear.

Evens is an indie line that we just can't get enough of and this wool Melody Coat (upper right) has a timeless quality to it that will never go out of style.

Ace & Jig (lower left) has a massive following right now and it's no wonder when they create vibrant, one-of-a-kind pieces like this adorable plaid Troop Blazer.

Apiece Apart is another line we've recently fallen for and this cropped Serra Top in Fawn is a new favorite. The colors and pattern are great for fall, but really, this is a top that will never go out of style.
