It seems like we've been encouraged by the fashion industry to incorporate color into our wardrobes for several seasons now. And like most people, I think it's a great idea in theory and then find myself reaching for the same things I always do. Neutrals, black, grey, and blue denim. Safe. However, a colorful bag, coupled with a neutral palette all of a sudden seems not so safe yet still refined and beautiful. A bit more fun. With clean lines and subtle details, these are four of my current favorites.
A beautiful purple suede messenger bag will liven up a grey day in seconds.
I love the subtle '70s nod of this forest green bag with the chain detail.
A mustard yellow tote cannot be missed. It's gorgeous with navy, grey, deep green and plum.
This red messenger with slim lines and accordion pleats is so cool and classic it could easily wind up being an everyday bag.
