This Saturday you'll have a chance to support indie businesses with Small Business Saturday. Many stores are offering discounts and special events, and I encourage everyone who's shopping to support your local community or friends from afar via online shopping at a few of our favorite boutiques.
I'm thrilled that three of my favorite independent boutiques all have online shopping available. This is great news if you're a fan of one of these stores but you don't live in the Bay Area and can't visit in-person.
From a hat to an epic moisturizer, a secret perfume to a stunning handbag, this collection offers individuality, originality, creativity, and of course, a stylish sensibility—all while supporting small businesses.
My friends at Stripe in Santa Cruz have a beautiful selection of things to shop for this holiday season. The green hat ($42) is a favorite of mine and can be styled as a neutral. I'm crushing on these copper mugs ($34); the earrings ($26) are an original take on the traditional hoop; and this Horse watch ($118) is a stunner.
The next batch of beautiful things are from Legion, a beloved boutique in San Francisco. I have a huge crush on the purse from Primecut Bags ($166-$192), the Confetti Print Tray ($32), the Dots Canvas Bag ($38), and the Splatter Print Notebook ($12).
The last collection is from Cameron Marks, a lifestyle boutique in Santa Cruz. This charming eye mask ($22) will gift your girl with a deep night's sleep; the chic bag from Cook and Gates ($125) has everlasting style appeal; the all-purpose moisturizer from goé oil ($50) is a cult favorite; and owner Vanessa Ambrose has bottled her beloved and highly secret fragrance ($25) seen here.
