As a filmmaker, I frequently meet new colleagues on set, and, between takes, when we chat, I get to learn about their other creative projects. On a recent production, I worked with a director who had just photographed the look book for leather bag maker, Vere Verto. I immediately became smitten with this gorgeous line. Based in Los Angeles and founded by Paige Smith and Consuelo Chozas, “Vere Verto creates leather handbags—clutches, backpacks, saddles—that bridge luxury with functionality for the day-to-night city lifestyle.” With an intrinsic understanding of the modern woman and her need to move seamlessly between myriad activities in a given day, these bags are the ultimate blend of form and function: versatile, elegant and timeless. My personal favorite is the Mini-Mox, available in brown and honey, and I adore the white. This beauty is three bags-in-one, transitioning from clutch to cross-body to hip bag by simply adding or removing the strap!
