I hate shopping for bathing suits. Who doesn't hate it? Bad dressing room lighting, staring at your backend and dissecting each ripple; it's no fun. And as a pear-shaped woman, it's especially hard to find a bathing suit to flatter my small waist and generous hips and butt.
But that all changed when Angelina Rennell, owner of Beklina.com and designer of Lina Rennell, told me to swing by her place in Santa Cruz. She was pretty sure she had designed just the bathing suit that I might like. And she was oh, so, right.
While the model seen above is probably twenty-five pounds lighter than I am, don't be deceived, this suit is über flattering for girls with curves.
With a retro style, a cut that covers what I want covered, but doesn't cut into my legs in an unflattering way, a sweet tie detail that allows you to control your coverage in the front, and a classy black color, this bathing suit is what I'll be wearing all summer long.
