Is it possible to find a pair of pants that can flatter everyone? Most people would say that's an impossible task. I was in that camp as well, until recently when I discovered the Kowtow Composition Pant at Legion and found that not only do they look good on a skinny model, but they look equally flattering on a curvy, normal-sized woman. Who would have guessed?
As a woman with a small waist, a bum, and full hips, it's often hard to dress for my figure. So when I first saw these beautiful slacks online, I thought there was no way this baggy pair (on the model) could look good on someone with generous thighs. I was wrong.
When I tried these striking pants on, I was instantly wowed. And when I got the "they're awesome!" seal of approval from my stylist friend Ellie (who also writes for The Penny Rose), I knew they were a must-have. (Check out my comparison shots @thepennyrose on Instagram, where I show what they look like in real life v. the model.)
In real life, these patterned pants show off a slender waist and are roomy enough to accommodate wide hips and a perky bottom. But on a slender frame, the look is equally as beautiful, but simply different: it's baggy. The good news is that you don't have to wear your pants like how you see a model wearing them. Wear them however they look best on your frame.
