In a recent blog, I wrote about a great eco-chic line of clothing called Indigenous, a small operation out of Sebastopol, Calif. The company generously gifted me with a few items of my choice including the Essential V Tee in black ($53), the Color Blocked Top in navy white stripe ($75) and the Luxe Leggings ($57), which all boast earth-friendly low-impact dyes and are ethically made.
The organic cotton is the finest and softest I have ever worn. All three items retain their shape well and fit as stated.
The Essential V Tee is somewhat long on my 5' 5" frame and I wish I'd paid more attention to the length before ordering. Otherwise, it's a perfect, wear-with-anything black tee that has a body conscious fit without being clingy.
The striped, Color Blocked Tee has become my favorite casual shirt. I wear it with jeans, tucked, partial tucked or hanging out and it's three-quarter length sleeves are perfect for cool summer days.
The Luxe Leggings live up to their name. They are incredibly soft and light. I was afraid they wouldn't provide enough coverage across the derriere but they do. The zip detail at the ankle and tailored styling at the waistband makes them dressier than your usual athleisure attire which I appreciate. They are perfect for travel or errands around town with flats and a tunic.
