Most of us who color our hair have roots—gray, brown, blonde, whatever color your natural hair is will peek through between colorings. And that's why many women turn to a root touch up solution to keep their root color maintained.
For me, I get my roots touched up every three weeks by Ginger Vaughn at Salon on the Square. And between those appointments, I still have to use a root touch up product.
I think I've tried nearly everything on the market to solve my root woes and nothing has quite worked for me. Until now.
I recently discovered Root Touch Up (what a great and specific name, right?), by Madison Reed. For $30, I certainly hoped that it would work, and it did—wonderfully. With a wide brush to allow for broad strokes, and a perfect texture, the auburn color matched my red locks perfectly.
From light blonde to black, the line comes in seven different hues, and by far, it's the best I've found so far.
