Spring Report: Ace & Jig

Springtime with Ace & Jig is a stylish season. The company has a collection of gorgeous items out this spring for the girl who doesn't want to wear flip flops, T-shirts and shorts. The wildly popular and still young line (founded in 2009) has quickly become a staple for the creative fashionista. Above are a few of my favorite looks from their spring collection, including the sailor-type outfit (upper right) that's a hit trend this season.

Discovery of the Week: Ace & Jig

I only recently discovered Ace & Jig, which is a shame, because I'm head over heels for this feminine, modern, cool clothing line based out of Brooklyn by designers Cary Vaughan and Jenna Wilson. According to their website, aceandjig.com, their focus is on "yarn-dye woven fabric" and the designers wanted to "create effortless clothes where the fabric would speak for itself." Mission accomplished. With an affinity for stripes and timeless silhouettes, this line is one that will never go out of style. Find Ace & Jig clothing at Cameron Marks in Santa Cruz, as well as at a store in your area. Also find Ace & Jig online.
