I spotted this darling, buttery, pink, pleated purse in Anthropologie. It was one of those trips to the beloved store where I loved everything. But this sweet bag kept catching my eye. For $188, you'll have a purse that will last a lifetime. And in this delicate nude/pink color, it will go with everything. Find it here.
Recently, I've been growing fond of the color white. I didn't care for it in the past—I always thought of it as a hue that was, well, absent of color. But lately, I've been giving it some long over-due attention. White has the ability to sharpen up any outfit and give it a crisp, updated look. Case in point: this darling high-neck eyelet blouse from Anthropologie. It's a beauty.
But I have two small reservations: it's only sold online (so you can't get a good sense of its fit) and getting makeup on the high neck.
If you're willing to go for it, find it here.
I can't be the only one who's noticed this, but the above two candles smell exactly the same. The top is a 5.7 ounce version sold at Trader Joe's for $3.99. The other is a 4 ounce option sold at Anthropologie for $12. So which one are you going to choose?
The Volcano (the below candle) scent has always been my favorite candle at Anthropologie, but when I recently discovered that I could basically get the exact same candle at a steep discount, guess who visited Trader Joe's and scooped up a handful of these Mango Tangerine candles?
You can, too. But snap them up fast. They seem to sell out quickly!
Recently, I've returned to my Anthropologie roots. I'd taken a break from the boho-loving store as it went through a hippie chic phase. But now, it seems like it's back to its regular self: creative, fun, feminine clothes. And I'm back in love with it. This is especially handy as during my hiatus, I had a love affair with some other lines, but discovered that boxy clothes just don't look good on girls with curves.
And while the tops seen above might have a boxy quality about them, the thing that sets them apart is that they hit above the hip, allowing for a pear-shaped person like myself to show off my assets instead of covering them up.
These two beauties are from New York Whitney Pozgay of the line Whit. They offer a refined but creative take on spring fashion.
Snap them up here.
As the weather starts to get chilly, it's time to pull out light jackets, sweaters, capes, and scarves. And among the season's finest is a beautiful selection of plaid offerings from Anthropologie. This swing jacket is a perfect transition piece between fall and winter. The sweater jacket (middle picture) is a lovely layering piece. And the Woodsmoke Plaid Scarf can be worn as a cape or bunch it up and wrap it around your neck to keep warm. This season, everything is perfectly plaid.
