A Procrastinator's Guide to Last Minute Christmas Shopping

It's not Christmas Eve yet so you still have a few days to put off shopping. Here are some last minute ideas for those of us who aren't finished with getting everything wrapped and ready to squeeze into the sleigh.
Bookstore: A great place to start. Some years I've wiped just about everyone off my list in one fell swoop with personal agendas, journals and notebooks, books (of course), cookbooks, kids books and games, calendars and magazine subscriptions.
Chef Store: Coffee makers, electric kettles, tea infusers, cups, mugs, beautiful serving dishes, cheese board and carving tools, elegant wine stoppers, new and improved wine openers, coasters, and lovely tea towels.
Gourmet Food: Specialty teas and coffees, chocolates, candy, crackers and cheeses, salumi, macarons.
Beauty Store: Perfume and cologne, all things related to men's shaving, bath salts, seasonal body scrub, essential oils, decadent soaps. Peruse, smell, have fun.

Electronics Store: Universal charging pads, stylus for phones and pads, DVDs, cameras, Roku.
Liquor Store: Champagne, wine, artisanal beers, favorite liquors. For the non-drinker: lottery tickets."
Generally well received by all: Movie ticket gift cards, iTunes gift cards, spa treatments.

Merry Christmas, enjoy the time with the people you love. Most important: don't stress, have fun.

Last Minute Gift Ideas

Untitled #69

You've got one week left. Are you in a pinch and need some ideas? These six finds will satisfy any woman in your life.

I've been eyeing the belt bag in the upper left corner for a long time, and it's on my Christmas wish list. It's a beauty and a rare find, created by Hipsters for Sisters, an independent bag company out of Los Angeles. The leopard print will go with anything and the bag style can be worn as a clutch, belt bag, or purse.

The Tokyo Milk candle is one of my favorites and exudes an intoxicating scent (order online with expedited shipping).

The Calvin Klein Downtown fragrance is one of my new favorites. It has citrus undertones and can be found in a snap—track down your nearest Sephora to find a bottle.

The buttery caramel brown color of this leather clutch will go with any outfit, and one-of-a-kind craftsmanship by Terry McInerney of Nuala is priceless. Find it at Stripe in Santa Cruz or do a rush order online here.

The two rings in the colum on the left (middle and bottom) are both new releases by Bauble Bar in conjunction with revered style blogger Blair Eadie of Atlantic Pacific. I love the rose gold double arrow for a shot of whimsy and attitude, and the brooch-like ring for its romantic flair.
