It's Christmas Eve and these sisters are gathered to decorate the tree, enjoy hot tea together, and secretly fawn over one another's outfits. Who pulls off wearing green the best? Is it the sister in a jumpsuit showing off her long stems? The risk-taker who pulls a blouse on over a dress opting for an unpredictable fashion choice? The youngest who leans toward pale pink and tops off her look with a green hat? Tell us your favorite look in the comments below.

Some sisters seem to be perpetually in competition with each other. But these three, reunited for the holidays, always cheer each other on with innovative fashion choices: they mix patterns in unexpected ways, using plaids and old-fashioned florals, they elevate their hair styles with wild, party curls, and punch up their makeup palettes. Each complements her winter outfit with one-of-a-kind items from Blank Verse Jewelry. Snapping photos this season with family? Take some daring fashion risks by mixing prints (remember colors should complement each other), and try deep, red lips. And don't for a second tame your tresses.

Inspired by Lady Sybil from Downton Abbey

You might not know her by her real name, Jessica Brown Findlay, but you surely know her character, Lady Sybil Crawley, from "Downton Abbey." This star on the rise is also someone to watch in the fashion world. She takes beautiful yet daring choices, puts her own spin on trends, and incorporates that English sensibility that we all fell in love with on "Downton Abbey."

After I saw this photo of her, I couldn't stop thinking about her outfit. The tough black leather jacket, the feminine mint blue lace dress, bright red lips, hair swept up, and gold tassel earrings—it's a one-of-a-kind look that I'm on a mission to recreate for myself. Here's my take, inspired by Lady Sybil.

Untitled #44
I've chosen a jacket from Free People, a sweet top from Shop Ruche, two pairs of earrings from Blank Verse Jewelry, and the perfect red lipstick—by Julie Hewett in Femme Noir—it's a favorite of many fashion editors. Tied together, this look is a big hit—it combines romance and edge all into one package.
