Fall Favorites: Accessories

Come fall, it's easy to focus on jackets and coats. But accessories add to the overall look and with that in mind, I've culled a few of my favorites. A polka dot scarf in cashmere and silk will forever be a favorite. Over the knee boots, with a flat heel and a form fit, are casually elegant. Not one to let a trend go by without mention, this bag in a lovely dove grey and chain detail is fun and fringe without being over-the-top boho. And finally, a beautiful color blocked fedora adds chic to any ensemble.

Fall Favorites—Gold/Bronze Jewelry

I used to hate gold and bronze jewelry. (Who knows why.) But recently, something shifted and I am completely sold on gold, as well as its bold sister, bronze. Both hues have a classy quality, go with everything, and designers are always finding new ways to use bronze and gold in creating one-of-a-kind baubles. Here are five of my favorite items that I think would pair up with any fall outfit perfectly.

Top left: Moon Childe earrings by Laamie Young of Blank Verse Jewelry. The pounded metal and woven tassel earrings are a bold and beautiful statement piece. Sweep your hair up and wear with just about anything.

Top right: This yellow bronze cuff is very cool. Make sure to pair it with a three-quarter length jacket so you can show it off. Find it at Beklina.com, an online store based out of Santa Cruz.

Middle right: I love a good bronze or gold ring and this one is a stand out. Unique and individually made in Brooklyn.

Bottom right: This T-bar cuff style has been making the rounds for a little while now, but I haven't (until now) seen it done like this, with a sweet, feminine, sophisticated twist.

Bottom left: Sweet tassel earrings by Blank Verse Jewelry make a statement but are also romantic at the same time. (I love them!)
