I never win anything. Well, I never used to win anything. Until a few weeks ago when I entered an Instagram contest hosted by Harputs, a San Francisco-based clothing line designed by husband-and-wife team, Gus and Robin Harputs. With a motto of, "smart, clean clothing for all," I couldn't resist entering the contest. Also, I had been eyeing the 3-Hole Blazer for many months now.
I first discovered the line during a shopping trip to Revolver in San Francisco, an edgy, modern boutique with gorgeous clothing. It was there that I tried on (and fell in love with) the black, nylon 3-Hole Blazer. I haven't been able to stop thinking about it ever since.
And now, after winning the contest, I'm the proud owner of a new version of the 3-Hole Blazer. This original jacket is a summer design—lightweight denim offers a business casual look for the creative woman at work or play.
Seen here, I'm at play. Stylist Ellie Vilmenay created an original way to wear this cleverly-designed piece. She twisted the additional arm hole and tucked it down the opposite sleeve, creating an asymmetrical, artistic look. This is a perfect style for a casual day around town shopping, going to the beach, or sipping an iced coffee and reading a novel, while looking exceptionally cute. Pair it with bright clogs, a sweet bag, and layered brass necklaces.
