Being a mom to two children under the age of 5 is probably the hardest thing I've ever done. It's also the best thing. Never have I experienced such highs and lows. No wonder someone thought to give parents their own day of salute. Although my mother used to remind everyone that every day should be Mother's Day, it just doesn't seem to work out that way. So what's a mom to wear for the occasion? Be it brunch, tea or a day at the park, comfort reigns. But not at the expense of style. I'd put together drawstring pants in a modern floral and a slouchy top in a color that pops. A structured handbag and bright sandal pull it all together. I'd opt for the flat sandal only because I still have a lot of chasing to do, but for moms that can work the heel and still run down the marauding child, a neon high heel would be perfect. I'd accessorize with bold accents of gold, and sunglasses are a staple. Most of all, remember to have a Happy Mother's Day.
