I've been on something of a health kick lately. I bought a Fitbit and have been trying to walk 10,000 steps a day. And I've been testing Harley Pasternak's Body Reset Diet. So, I thought I better try out a natural approach to skincare. I've played with lots of face washes, scrubs and moisturizers, but my sensitive skin never quite gets better. It always has a ruddy quality to it. So I recently road tested three items by the Naturopathica skin care line and I've been thoroughly impressed. The all-natural products I tried were geared toward someone with sensitive/oily skin: the Aloe Cleansing Gel blends lavender and aloe vera leaving your face feeling soothed and softened after washing with it; the Lavender Protective Moisturizer SPF 17 not only includes a SPF but it also is an effective moisturizer that I found to be much better than most varieties I've tried, most likely due to its calming properties from the lavender; and finally I tried out the Pear Fig Polishing Enzmye Peel, which I also loved. This mask is particularly helpful with dry skin, which I struggle with on my chin.
All of the products were superb and the prices are reasonable. As soon as I'm out of stock, I'll be buying another round and I might also experiment with the tempting bath and body oils that the company also sells.
